Anna Kephart
(July 20, 1863 – December 18, 1930)

Anna Dickson was born July 20, 1863 in Clark County, Illinois, the second daughter of Henry Dickson and Mary Ann (Swearingen) Dickson. The family moved to Boone County, Iowa and then to Ida County, Iowa. Anna was marred in Ida Grove, Iowa to Charles A. Bargelt on Oct 5, 1881. To this union were born three daughters: Maude, Beulah, and Ivy. On Nov. 28, 1894 in Ida Grove, Anna married Wm. Carlton Drake. William and Anna had four children: Raymond, Ethel, Opal and Mary. William Drake died Dec 12, 1908 in a hospital in Cherokee, Iowa and was buried in Ida Grove Cemetery. Oct. 20, 1909, when Anna was 46, she married Theodore Kephart in Ida Grove. Theodore and Anna continued to live in Ida Grove, until 1924 when they moved to Salem, Dent County, Missouri. At age 67, Anna died in Salem, Missouri and was buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Salem, Missouri. Theodore Kephart died Mar. 5, 1935 and is buried beside Anna in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
