Mrs. S. A. Cronquist Dies at Odebolt
Mrs. S. A. Cronquist, a pioneer settler of Hayes Township, died Monday afternoon at Odebolt, at the age of 79 years. She had been failing for several years and sustained a second stroke of paralysis Saturday, which quickly resulted in death. Her husband preceded her in death ten months ago. There are seven surviving daughters; Mrs. Ida Fink and Mrs. Anna Smith of California, Mrs. Mabel Smith of China, Mrs. Noid in Omaha, Mrs. McCollough of Humboldt, Mrs. H. W. Frahm of Hayes Twp., Miss Minnie Cronquist at home. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon, June 12, at 2:20 at the Lutheran church in Odebolt. [According to Josephine’s death certificate, she was born in Sweden and her parents were Nels J. & Ingrid Nelson.]
