Carna Rae Gajewski, 50, entered into rest on December 28, 2012, at her home in Jackson, MN with her girls and grandson by her side, after a courageous battle with COPD.

Carna was born January 15, 1962, to Gerald and Mildred Miller in Ida Grove, IA. She graduated from Odebolt/Arthur Community Schools. Carna received her LPN degree from DMACC. She was a wonderful nurse, working in long term care facilities or in hospitals.

Carna was blessed with two daughters, Jill and Allison. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, birds and her dogs.

Her greatest pride and joy was her grandson, Camp. They had a very special bond and especially enjoyed story hour at the library.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jill, of Jackson, MN; and Allison of Estherville, IA; grandson, Camp; her father, Gerald and significant other, Sheri; three sisters: Candra (Randy) Irons of Lincoln, NE; Christine (Henry) Deman of Storm Lake; and Cheryl Vanarsdol of Denison, IA; two great aunts: Ina Knop and Millie Lill both of Denison; nieces and nephews; and her Corgi, Lilly.

She was preceded in death by her mother Mildred and grandparents.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 12th, at 2:00 pm, at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Odebolt with visitation two hours prior, beginning at 12:00 at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at the Odebolt Cemetery.
