February 20, 1912 ----- September 10, 1978Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie E. Fox
Mrs. Curtis (Marjorie E.) Fox, 66, died Sunday, Sept. 10. at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital, Humboldt. Services were Wednesday in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home, Livermore, with burial in St. Olaf Cemetery at Bode. Surviving are her husband, Curtis; daughters, Marlys Brauman, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Marvin (Lois) Roberts, Brussels, Belgium; one granddaughter; brother, Robert Hanson, Falls Church, Va.; and sister, Mrs. John (Phyllis) Christiansen, Ottosen.
Marjorie Hanson was born at Eagle Grove and attended schools there until the family moved to Bode, where she attended Bode High School. She worked for a time in the area and married Curtis Fox in 1951 at Blue Earth, Minn. The couple made their home in Livermore.

Phyllis Margaret (Hanson) CHRISTIANSON
January 31, 1916 ---– January 25, 2003Funeral services for Phyllis M. Christianson, 86, Bode, were held Monday, Jan. 27, at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Bode, with burial in the St. Olaf Cemetery there. She died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at the Humboldt Care Center South in Humboldt. The Mason - Lindhart Funeral Home of Bode was in charge of the arrangements, with the Rev. Paul Breddin officiating. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Lynn Jesse of Urbandale; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jody Christianson of Bozeman, MT; five grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; two brothers. Ward and Bobbie Hanson; and two sisters, Marjorie Fox and Arlene Hanson.
Phyllis Margaret Hanson, daughter of Dr. Clarence and Lulu Mae Hanson, was born Jan. 31, 1916, at Eagle Grove. She moved with her family to Bode when she was 14-years-old, and in 1933 she graduated from Bode High School. In November, 1937, she was united in marriage to John Christianson of Bode. The couple made their home on their farm north of Bradgate all of their married lives. She became a resident of the Humboldt Care Center South two and a half years ago.
