Anna Potter, A Hardy resident
Mrs. Anna Potter, 93, died Sunday, March 21 at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 23 at the United Methodist Church in Renwick with burial in Vemon Township Cemetery. Blake Funeral Home, Renwick. was in charge of arrangements. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Harriet) Lane, Humboldt; sons, Carroll Potter, Hardy, and Kenneth Potter, Des Moines; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Anna Madison was born at Goldfield and was educated in the Hardy schools. She married Lee Potter in 1912 at Hardy, and the couple farmed near Hardy. Mr. Potter died in 1963, and Mrs. Potter continued to live on the farm with her son, Carroll. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Rebekah Lodge of Humboldt.
