Andrew Flaskerud went to Bode last week to attend the funeral of L. O. Lillegaard. Mr. Lillegaard will be remembered as one of the first parochial teachers in Calmar.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Nov. 23, 1855 and died Jan. 19, 1916. He is buried in St. Olaf Lutheran Cemetery in Bode, IA.
