Memorial services for Kenneth B. "Lars" Ringsborg, 75, Baltimore, MD, formerly of Rutland, were held Saturday, Sep. 21, at the Connelly Funeral Home in Baltimore, with entombment at the Gardens of Faith Cemetery there. He died Monday, Sept. 16, 1996, at his home in Baltimore of congestive heart failure.

The Connelly Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, June (Rohe) Rigsborg; two sisters, Ellen Jones and Phillis Ricketts; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death (by) a brother, Phillip, in November 1995.

Kenneth Ringsborg, son of Lars and Agnes Ringsborg, was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Rutland. When he was an infant, he moved with his family to Humboldt, where he received his education. He played the trombone during his high school years and graduated in 1939.

In 1942 he moved to Baltimore, MD, where he had resided ever since. He was married to June Rohe in 1949. The couple has made many trips to Iowa during their married life.

He started his own company, an excavating and construction business, which he operated for 42 years.
