Alton Mitsven, 61, Bode, died early Wednesday morning, April 17, in Trinity Regional Hospital West, Fort Dodge.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, in St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Bode, with burial in the church cemetery. Schellhammer Funeral Home of West Bend, is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are brothers and sisters: Mrs. Bethel Espe, Harlan and George Mitsven, all of San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Percy Watnem, Ottosen; Mrs. Lewis Dippel, Belmond; and Mrs. John Guggisberg, Fort Dodge.

Mr. Mitsven was born at Bode and received his education there. He worked several years for the Nasby Hardware at Bode, and later for the Devries Rafter Company, Bode, and also for Bode Elevator Company.

The Rev. Palmer Loken will officiate at final rites. Casket bearers will be Bruce Watnem, Allan Watnem, Randy Watnem, Leroy Enger and Howard Curry.
