Guy Paul Lansing, Jr., 62 of Des Moines died Friday (16 Sep 1994) at home of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The death has been ruled a suicide. The body was cremated and memorial services held at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.

Mr. Lansing was born in Bode and lived in Des Moines 35 years. He was a self-employed landlord, a veteran of the Army and member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Home Masonic Lodge, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine and Des Moines Consistory.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara; two sons: Thomas and James both of Des Moines; two sisters: Betty Meyer of Cushing, OK and Donna Ketelsen of West Bend and three grandchildren.
