Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in St. John's American Lutheran Church for Jan Allan Pinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Omar Pinson who died at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Dodge Thursday evening, April 24, 1941 at the age of six months and 12 days. Burial was in Bode.

Jan Allan was born October 12, 1940 at the Lake City hospital. Wednesday of last week he became ill and on Thursday morning he was taken to the Fort Dodge hospital where an operation was performed for a telescoped intestine, but death followed. The little lad was a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Millard Walkner of Pomeroy.

Out of town relatives and friends here for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John Pinson of Ida Grove, Mr. and Mrs. John Saxton and daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Monson and Grant Monson of Barnum, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Walkner and family, Alvin Walkner, and Mr. and Mrs. George Knutson and family of Hardy, Mrs. John Rolland and son of Thor, Arthur Monson of Bode, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Stauffacker, Mrs. William Black, Mrs. Charles Walker and Mrs. Mary Norder of Renwick.

(Jan's mother was Goldie Walkner Pinson, daughter of Millard and Gladys Monson Walkner).
