Bertha Pederson, 87, of Bode died Monday morning in Humboldt Care Center North. Funeral services will be Thursday at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church at Bode with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by one son: E. George Pederson of Marquette; three daughters: Mrs. James Anderson of Wichita, KS; Mrs. Royal Hansen of Bode and Mrs. Robert Benhow of Rockville, MD.

Born at Bode, Bertha Kinseth was reared and educated there. She married Elmer Pederson July 23, 1910 at Bode where the couple farmed. After Mr. Pederson died, Mrs. Pederson moved into Bode until she went to the care center.
