Funeral services for Albert Monson, 64, World War I veteran and liflong Bode resident who died in the Veterans hospital in Des Moines Tuesday morning will be held this afternoon (Fri) at the St. olaf Lutheran Church in Bode. The pastor of the church, the Rev. M.O Kraabel will officiate.

Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery in Bode with the Bogaard Funeral Home in charges, The Cloverleaf American Legion Post of Bode will be in charge of military rites at the grave,

Mr. Monson, the son of Mons and Anna Monson was born in Bode February 20, 1891. He served in the Army during World War I and was seriously wounded in action in Europe.

He is survived by two brothers, Arthur of Bode and Otto of Redfield, SD and three sisters, Mrs. John Saxton of Fort Dodge, Mrs. John Rolland of Chester and Mrs. John Jung of Lake Orion, MI

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. 12 May 1955 Humboldt Newspaper.
