BODE BUSINESS MAN DIES FROM HEART ATTACK

13 Apr 1903 - 05 Dec 1951

BODE --- Theodore Roosevelt Monson, prominent Bode businessman, died last week Tuesday of a heart attack. He was on duty at the Monson Brothers store in the morning, and went over to the locker plant about 11, where he was stricken with the fatal attack.

He is survived by his wife Anna and step daughter, Mrs. W. Floyd Palmer, and two grandchildren, Mark and Michelle Palmer. There are several brothers and sisters including Art and Albert, of Bode; Otto of Redfield, SD; Grace Saxton, Fort Dodge; Mrs. Ada Rolland, Osage and his twin sister Mrs. Thelma Thompson of Detroit, MI.

Funeral services were held in St. Olaf Lutheran church Friday afternoon with the Rev. Mr. Kraabel officiating. Burial was in the Bode Lutheran cemetery with the Bogaard funeral home in charge.

Mr. Monson was born April 13, 1903, the son of Mr. and Mrs. M.O. Monson.
