Osage -- Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church for John Rolland, 57. Burial will be in Osage Cemetery. He Died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.

Born in Norway, Oct. 1, 1904, he came to Bode as a young man. He was married to Ada Monson and they moved to Osage in 1951. Surviving are his wife, two sons, Robin, Osage: David, St. Paul, MN; two grandchildren, four brothers and a sister. SOURCE: 15 Mar 1962 Globe Gazette, Mason City, IA
