C. C. [Chauncey] Phillips died, at his home Saturday afternoon June 26, 1909]. The funeral took place at the residence Monday at 10 a. m. Interment occurred in Union Cemetery [Livermore]. Mr. Phillips had been in falling health for some time and his death was not unlocked for. [He was a Civil War veteran who served in Co. F. 57th Illinois]
