I have a change of email address from lobo.david@worldnet.att.net to lad377@worldnet.att.net. I am researching my grandparents ancestors. They are JAMES C BROPHY, son of PATRICK BROPHY and MARY CONNERY and LULIE C LONG, dtr of JOHN T LONG and MARY E RYAN. James and Lulie were both born (1872 and 1875) in Paris twp. very near Lourdes. They were married in 1894 at Lourdes. About 5 or 6 yrs later, they sold the family farm to Julia Guyette, a cousin, and moved to Tracy MN. PATRICK, born abt 1823, immigrated from Ireland and passed away at Lourdes in 1895. MARY was born in Ohio to JOHN CONNERY and MARGARET COYLE in 1845. She passed away at Lourdes 1878. John and Margaret moved to Allamakee county in 1852. JOHN, born abt 1814, immigrated from Co. Derry, Ire about 1835 and in 1838 married MARGARET in Columbiana Co. OH in 1838. MARGARET was born about 1814 to PHILIP COYLE and CATHERINE CAMPBELL, probably in PA even tho the census lists her birthplace as Ohio. She passed away between Mar. 1855 and 1856 before the state census was taken. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who may be connected with these elusive Irish men and women.
