Aaron J. Dusheck, age 95, died on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Evans Senior Living Community in Cresco, Iowa.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Aaron at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Jacob Rouse officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Cresco with Military Honors. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church on Tuesday with the rosary recited at 9:30 a.m.

Aaron Jean Dusheck, son of James and Eleanor (Panoch) Dusheck, was born on July 15, 1929, in Cresco, Iowa. After graduating high school, Aaron enlisted with the United States Navy. He served his country from 1948 to 1952 during the Korean War. On May 4, 1955, he married Lillian Fischbach at Assumption Catholic Church in Cresco. To this union their son Dean was born. Aaron spent his entire working career at the Cresco Creamery, beginning at an entry level job and finishing his career as the Plant Manager for both Cresco and Waukon. The couple liked to travel around in their motorhome and take the boat up north fishing. Winters were for snowmobiling. Aaron also enjoyed pheasant and deer hunting. He had a special fondness for dogs. Aaron’s faith was an important part of his life.

He is survived by his son Dean (Carol) Dusheck of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren Sarah (Mark Jeffrey) Dusheck of Eden Prairie, MN and Adam Dusheck of Knoxville, TN; and great grandson Jaxon Jeffrey.

Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lillian in 2022, 1 sister, and 3 brothers.
