Suicide by Shooting.
James Markovetz, a farmer residing in New Oregon, fired a charge of shot into his left bre{a}st last Friday morning, causing a great, gaping wound which caused his instant death. The deceased has been somewhat deranged mentally for some time, but it nad{sic} not been thought his condition was serious.
The funeral services were held Sunday, conducted by Rev. Hovlik, of Saratoga, and the remains interred {in} the New Oregon cemetery.
