OBITUARY.
WILLIAMS.
Mildred Rose Williams was born at Wauzeka, Wis., October 18, 1904. She was the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Williams who for a number of years resided at that place. Two years ago, they came with their family to Cresco, Iwa., where Mildred has attended the public schools the Sunday School and other services of the church.
Mildred was always a very dutiful child, kind, patient, sympathetic and lovable. She was the embodiment of that beautiful Christlike element of kindness to others. She was always happiest when doing something for or, in some way, helping somebody else. She loved to go to church and Sunday School and, in a marked, degree, showed the love of Christ in her heart. If the love of a human soul for Christ and a love of helpfulness to others, is a mark of true discipleship, then Mildred was certainly a beautiful little Christian on earth and shall receive an abundant welcome with those who serve among the Angels of heaven.
After a brief illness of four or five weeks with inflammatory rheumatism, she was carried by the Angels to the bosom of Christ—departing thence on Wednesday afternoon, May 8th, 1918, age, 15{sic} years, 6 months and 20 days.
The funeral service was held at the home on Thursday afternoon at 4:30 conducted by Rev. E. G. Copeland. Pupils of the public school and of the Sunday School attended in a body besides a large number of neighbors and friends. Interment was made at Wauzeka, Wis.
