George Wolliung, an old resident of Cresco and vicinity, passed away early Tuesday morning. He was taken suddenly ill Sunday evening, having on that day attended church and felt as well as usual. The funeral will be held this afternoon, conducted by Rev. Pless, with burial at Oak Lawn. Mr. Wolliung was a good citizen and neighbor whose death is a distinct loss to the community.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name as John George Woliung. He was born May 5, 1848 and died March 12, 1918.
