OBITUARY
BIGALK.
Mabel Bertha, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bigalk, was born in Howard county, Iowa, June 23, 1906. Little Mabel was not thought first to be seriously ill, but after the physicians were called for her and it was thought that she had leakage of the heart, all that loving hearts and willing hands could do to prolong her sweet life was of no avail, and at last the end came peacefully.
How bravely she battled for life, but after much suffering for about a year the battle of life is now ended and Mabel is at rest:
Safe in the Arms of Jesus,
Safe on His gentle breast.
This previous little life, the joy of the household, the very sunshine of their home, and a constant companion of her parents, was brought to a close Saturday, March 10, at 7:20 a. m., at the age of 10 years 8 months and 17 days.
She leaves to mourn her loss a sorrowing father and mother, two brothers and three sisters, namely: Frank, Lucinda, Ida, and Mrs. J. E. Johnson of Harmony, Minn., and also a little twin brother, Leonard, who was so dear to her; and besides she leaves aged grandparents and a host of relatives and friends Her death, indeed, is a great sorrow to all, and in the bereavement they have the sympathy of their many friends
Funeral services were conducted by their pastor, Rev. Daugs, at the Big Spring Lutheran church, and she was laid to rest in the nearby cemetery
On the tenth day of March,
At the opening of the day,
We gave up our dear little Mabel
To the angels far away.
Just ten yaars of sunshine
She grew ‘round our happy home,
And her happy sun is set forever
And we are called upon to mourn.
We will miss her in the morning
And at noon time of the day.
When the stars adorn the heaven
We will kneel to her and pray.
That we will meet her up in heaven,
From sin and sorrow free,
To part no more with Mabel
But join her in her glee.

CARD OF THANKS.
We wish to extend our sincere thanks to the many neighbors and friends for their sympathy and kindness I our bereavement; also for the many floral offerings in memory of our beloved daughter and sister. THE FAMILY.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she is buried in the Big Spring Cemetery in Harmony, MN.
