Charles Glass passed away yesterday morning at about two o’clock at the home of his mother, Mrs. John Glass, of this city, after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 at the Church of the Assumption. Burial at St. Joseph’s cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the community. Obituary later.

OBITUARY
GLASS.
Charles E. Glass was born in Howard County, March 15, 1886, and passed away March 8, 1917, at the home of his mother, Mrs. john Glass. He was married on June 22, 1914, to Rose Kaupel, and leaves his wife, his mother, two sisters, Mrs. Al. Stowell, of Elida, New Mexico, and Margaret Glass, of Strod, S. D., and six brothers, Frank, Lee, Albert, Joe, Jack and Arthur.
The deceased has resided in Cresco and vicinity most of his life-time, although during the past few years he has worked at his trade as cigar maker in various places in Iowa and Minnesota.
The funeral took place at the Church of the Assumption on Saturday morning, with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
The deceased was a member of the K. of C., the local lodge having charge of the funeral. He was also a member of the W. O. W.
The out-of-town people who attended the funeral were Mrs. John Mullen and daughter, Mrs. Will Coughlin, of Wagner, S. D., Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Klisart and son Leander, Mrs. T. Schulze and son Edward, Mrs. Herb Klisart, and Miss Emma Kaupel and Mrs. C. F. Quinn, of Ossian, Iowa, Miss Rose Schupanitz and Winfreda Schupanitz and brother Hugo, of Festina, Iowa.
