E. E. Earl, who has been ill so long at his home in Orleans, died Saturday afternoon. Mr. Earl has been in poor health for a number of years but for the last three months has been a great sufferer, bearing his sufferings patiently. He was a man of true worth and will be greatly missed by friends and neighbors as well as relatives. Mr. Earl was 73 years of age. He leaves one daughter Mrs. John Oleson, one sister, Mrs. Fuller, and a number of other relatives to mourn his loss. The funeral will be held at the Morgan church Tuesday forenoon. Interment will be in the Cresco cemetery by the side of his wife who died about 12 years ago. Our sympathy goes out to the relatives, especially to the aged sister who is the only surviving member of the family.

Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone in Oaklawn Cemetery shows he was born May 29, 1838 and died Jan. 20, 1912.
