Rosetta Mae Murray was born on June 26, 1935, daughter of Daniel Lloyd and Eva Mae (Grabau) Murray in Bonair, IA. She enjoyed going out to eat, collecting dolls, going shopping for “junk”, and working on needlepoint. Rose looked forward to planting a large garden in the spring. She liked to can the vegetables that were harvested in the fall. The last food she ever canned were watermelon pickles. Rose moved and travelled a lot in her lifetime. Some of the places she visited included Graceland, Rapid City, Hawaii, New Orleans, Mexico, and Florida. Rose had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially her dogs. Most importantly in her life was her family. She loved and was very proud of her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She enjoyed family gatherings and holding all the babies…until they could talk back.

Rose is survived by her 2 daughters Brenda (Bentley) Jungen of Oelwein, IA and Roxanne (Bentley) (Dean) Mobley of Cedar Falls, IA; daughter-in-law Sue Bentley of Shell Rock, IA; special nieces Sandy Clements of Evansdale, IA and Sherri Mastin of Newberry, FL; special nephew Jeffry Mastin of Waterloo, IA, grandchildren Christina Reams of Greene, IA, Cynthia (Robert) Howell of Osage, IA, James (Tina) Bentley of Shell Rock, IA, Shawn (Christina Edmonds) Bentley of Oelwein, IA, Nicholas (Laura) Bentley of New Hampton, IA, Benjamin (Laura) Jungen of Waterloo, IA, Carl Adams of Clarksville, IA, Elizabeth (fiancé Josh O’Connell) Adams of Cedar Falls, IA, Tiffany Nieman of Waterloo, IA, and Brandon Crawford of Waterloo, IA; 24 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
