Linda L Huhe, age 79, left this earth on Saturday, April 16, 2022 surrounded by loving family at Regional Health Services of Cresco, Iowa.
A Memorial Service for Linda will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 22, 2022, at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Leo Combs-Lay officiating. Visitation for Linda will be Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 PM at First Lutheran Church in Cresco and will continue one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Cresco.
Linda Louise Falck was born January 17, 1943 in Decorah, Iowa, to Fred David Phillip Falck & Verna Rachel (Davis) Falck. She graduated from Cresco High School and began her working career as a cosmetologist. Linda fell in love and married Galen Dennis Huhe on June 8, 1963 at First Lutheran Church in Cresco, Iowa. To this union, eight children were born: Lonnie (Leon) Bohr, Lisa (Jon) Flugstad, Kathy (Sam) Graeve, Khris (Peg) Huhe, Ramona (Mike) Martinek, Tim (Diana) Huhe, Brenda (Kevin) Boehmer and Beth (Ron) Martinek. Great character, love, hard work, and fun were the foundation of their marriage and wonderful lives. Together they farmed 57 years and were proud to have partnered with their son, Tim & his family, forming what is known as H&H Farms.
Linda was considered a second mother to many because of her welcoming smile and genuine kindness. She enjoyed sewing & quilting, playing cards with family, jigsaw puzzles, and loved Wheel of Fortune.
Linda is survived by 25 grandchildren. Megan (Brandon) Pitz, Dr. Lindsey Bohr (Brian Reszutek); Heather (Sean) Burke, Hannah Flugstad; Rachel (Riley) Jensen, Lauren (Brett) Carstens, David Graeve, Kari Graeve; Lucas Huhe, Ashley (Eric) Bischoff, Austin Huhe; Travis (Rachel) Martinek, Justin Martinek, Nathan Martinek; Jennifer (Mike) Bronner, Abby Huhe (fiancé Maleek Williams), Katie Huhe; Ben Boehmer, Sam Boehmer, Charlie Boehmer, Joey Boehmer; Zach Martinek, Colin Martinek, Emma Martinek & Max Martinek; honorary grandchild Dalton Martinek; Six great grandchildren. William Huhe Augustine, Elma Bischoff, Harper Pitz, Oliver & Remi Jensen, and Liam Burke, with four more great grandbabies on the way; siblings Evelyn Schnitzler, Howard Falck, Norma Albertson, and Janice Broghammer.
Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband Galen, parents, and siblings: Alice Kurash and Vernon Falck.
