Wm. Riekman, residing north of Davis Corners, was killed on Thursday of last week by being thrown from a manure spreader. Riekman was alone at the time and it is presumed that his team ran away and dragged him on the ground. He leaves a wife and six children.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows the name spelled Riekmann and that he was born Sept. 4, 1864 and died July 6, 1916. He is buried in Saratoga Township Cemetery.
