Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Serfling attended the funeral of Abner Smith, the latter’s uncle, at State Line, last Thursday.

Transcriber's Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1848 and died April 18, 1916. He is buried in the State Line Methodist Cemetery.
