Charles Adams, who came down from Minneapolis on Sunday to attend the funeral of Mr. Fuller, informs Howard Marshall’s relatives residing in Cresco that he met Mr. Marshall's son, Howard, at the Minneapolis depot and was informed that he had just received a letter from his brother, Arthur, who resides in California, stating that the latter had received a cablegram announcing the death of their father. No particulars of Mr. Marshall’s death have arrived, but as his nephew, C. A., received on Tuesday a newspaper addressed in the firm hand of his uncle who has, so far as known, been enjoying good health, it is surmised that his death occurred suddenly, probably from heart trouble.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1840 and is buried in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
