Death of Leonard Viebrock.
Cresco relatives and friends were grieved on Saturday last by the arrival of a telegram announcing the death the day previous of Leonard Viebrock aged 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Viebrock, who a few weeks ago removed to Tosten, Montana. Although the boy had been frail for several years, death came after an illness of but a little over a day. The remains, accompanied by the family, arrived in Cresco on Monday and the funeral was held at the German Lutheran Church the afternoon following with interment in the Saratoga cemetery.
Leonard was for several years a student in the Cresco public schools and enjoyed the sincere friendship of all his schoolmates, and all the older people who knew him, for in spite of his frail health, he was a manly and studious little fellow, “square” with his little friends, respectful and courteous to his elders, and a faithful member of the church in which he was confirmed. His loss is most sincerely mourned.
