Grandma Bigalk, formerly of Albion, passed away at the home of her son Otto, east of Cresco Friday of last week. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Pless the following Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. Milbreth, of Albion, interment in the Granger cemetery. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.

BIGALK.
Frederica Hackbarth was born in 1831 on the 7th day of October, at Colberg, East Prussia, where she grew to womanhood. In 1850 she was united in marriage with Godfrey Bigalk. Their union was blessed with ten children of whom five sons and two daughters survive. In 1857, deceased with her family emigrated to this country, living first near Watertown, Wisconsin, and then for eighteen years in Fon du Lac County. In 1877 she came to Iowa. Since the death of her husband in 1892, she made her home with her son, Otto Bigalk, where she fell asleep on Thursday, January 28, 1915. Interment was had in Granger, February 2nd, Rev. J. Pless officiating.
