Frederick, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hammond, of Minneapolis, was ran over by an unknown .automobile and was so badly injured that they proved fatal and the little fellow departed this early life Monday. His parents arrived with the remains Monday. Funeral services were held from the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hammond, Tuesday afternoon by Rev. C. C. Casper, of Riceville, the former pastor of the M. E. Church at this place. Interment in the Chester Hill cemetery.
