WHEELER.
Miss Anna Denam Dysart, eldest daughter of William and Margaret Dysart, was born July 24, 1831, in Dundee, Scotland.
The family came to New Jersey in 1843. nn{sic} 1845 they moved to Wisconsin. She was united in marriage to Daniel Wheeler Jan. 8, 1853 in Beloit, Wisconsin. To this union eight children were born, four of whom died in infancy.
In 1854 they moved to Decorah, Ia., where they made their home for some fifteen years, then came to Howard county, where they have since resided.
Mrs. Wheeler passed away at the home of her son, A. C. Wheeler, Nov. 15, 1913, at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 21 days, after an illness of only ten days.
She leaues{sic} to mourn, her aged husband, and four children, one daughter Mrs. Moretta L. Markham, Augustus C. and Daniel A. of Howard county, and James S. of Bemidji, Minn. Also one sister, Catherine Case of Austin, Minn., and one brother, James D. Dysart of Chautauqua county, N. Y., be sides 16 grand-children and nine great-grand-children.
The funeral was held Monday fore¬noon, Nov. 17th, at the A. C. Wheeler home, Rev. Gammons officiating, interment was in New Oregon cemetery.Transcriber's Note: Her gravestone shows she was born in 1830.
