Ralph Breckenridge, a former Cresco boy, was killed at Des Moines Ia. Saturday while enroute to Colfax, Ia. by his own touring car. He was cranking up the machine which was still in gear, and Breckenridge slipping as he noticed the car start, fell to the pavement and was run over. He was a prominent corporation attorney at Omaha, to which place the family removed from Cresco about 30 year ago. He was 63 years of age and leaves a wife, who was in the car at the time of his death, and two children.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born March 14, 1860 and died Aug. 8, 1913. He is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Omaha, NE.
