LEFERINK.
Bernardus Leferink, who has been in failing health for several months, passed away on Wednesday, August 6th, at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 11 days. The deceased was born at Hengelo, Holland, May 25, 1837, and in 1880 moved to Germany where he resided until coming to America in 1894, since which time he has made his home most of the time with his son John, where he was at the time of his death. In 1865, he was united in marriage to Catherina Bos, and to them were born six children, four of whom, a daughter residing in Germany and three sons, John, George and Henry, all of Cresco, together with the wife and mother, survive to mourn the loss of husband and father.
The funeral was held on Saturday morning from St. Joseph’s church, with interment in St. Joseph’s cemetery.
