HOLT.
Darinda L. daughter of Leven and Nancy Wanless was born in West Verginia,{sp} on June 2, 1851.
Her parents moved to Winneshiek county, Iowa, in 1856. Here she grew to womanhood. She was married to Robert Holt in 1872. They lived for a number of years in Winneshiek county from whence they moved to Saskatchawan, Canada, where she died on July 3, 1913.
Mrs. Holt united with the Congregational church in Minnesota. She was a consistent Christian to the end and bore three years of constant suffering with a Divine patience.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, Ellis and Oliver and one daughter, Mrs. Nettie Condon, all of Saskatchewan, Canada. She is also mourned by two brothers.
The funeral took place from the home of P. A. Wanless of this city at two o’clock on Sunday afternoon, Dr. D. T. Robertson of the Congregational church officiating.
The family and relatives of the deceased desire to express their thanks to the friends who so kindly assisted during the sickness and burial of the departed; also for the beautiful flowers.
