The remains of O. C. Sheldon were shipped here from Chicago Friday morning. The funeral was held in the Presbyterian church conducted by the .Rev. Williams, assisted by Rev. Burgess, Rev. Jones being absent. Mr. Sheldon moved to Lime Springs when a boy, living here until 18 years of age. He has been engaged in civil engineering for the C. B. & Q. R. R., for sixteen years. He married Miss Hattie Johnson, sister of A. R. Johnson, of this place. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his departure. He was 58 years of age.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1854 and died April 1, 1913. He is buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
