Sudden Death.
Mrs. Wm. Walker of Howard Center township passed away Tuesday afternoon at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Fisk, with scarcely any warning of her impending death.
She had been at the home of her daughter in the forenoon, ate dinner as usual, and with her family went to the home of Chas. Gray to attend the funeral of his wife, who was an aunt of Mrs. Walker. Before the services commenced she commenced to feel ill, complaining of a choking sensation, and asked to be taken to her daughter’s home near the fair grounds, and getting into the buggy with her husband and daughter started for that place, but before arriving there was so much worse that they stopped at the Fisk home, took Mrs. Walker from the carriage and summoned a physician, but life was extinct before she could be carried to the house.
The funeral was held yesterday afternoon from the M. E. church.Source: Twice-A-Week Plain Dealer Aug. 29, 1911, LP, C7
