A. F. Davis received the sad news Friday of the death of his neice, Miss Nettie Davis, of Osage City, Kansas, and left for there Friday afternoon to attend the funeral. Miss Davis, who was a daughter of J. T. Davis, formerly of Howard county, has visited here on several occasions, and has a host of friends in this vicinity who will sincerely mourn her death.
