Mrs. Torgeson who was taken to Mercy Hospital last week suffering from typhoid fever, died Saturday morning, and the remains were taken taken{sic} to York. Minn., Monday morning for burial. A brother of the deceased, John Dahly, from near Granger, accompanied the remains. It is thought that the two children who are also ill with typhoid at the hospital, are recovering nicely. Mrs. Torgeson and Miss Torgeson of Spring Valley, relative of the deceased, came Friday, returning Saturday with one of the children, Ernest, the other boy, Clarence, accompanying his uncle, John Dahly.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows this is Gertrude who is buried in Spring Valley Cemetery in Spring Valley, MN and was born Jan. 10, 1877 and died March 18, 1911. Her maiden name is spelled Dahley.
