CHURCH.
Donald Hamlin Church was born at Albert Lea, Minn., July 20, 1895.
About eight years ago he moved with his parents to Cresco, where he lived until his death, which occurred Tuesday night, Feb. 7th.
He was a student in the Cresco high school and quite a favorite among his shcool{sic} mates and friends. He became a Christian and united with the Congregational church about three years ago.
He was apparently in good health and strength and was in school until Thursday preceding his death, when he felt rather indisposed and stayed out for a few days rest, expecting to return again the following week. On Monday he rapidly grew worse and was confined to his bed and not until Tuesday, the day of his death, did he and his parents realize that the dreadful disease, diabetes, had fastened so firmly upon him. About five o’clock in the afternoon he became unconscious and passed away before midnight.
So sudden was his death that friends could hardly realize he had gone. He was laid to rest in the New Oregon cemetery.
