Jas. McMillan died at his home near Monticello, Thursday, Nov. 27th. The remains were brought to Cresco Friday night and the funeral was held at the Baptist church Saturday afternoon at two o’clock. The remains were accompanied to Cresco by the wife and daughters.

Transcriber’s Note: His gravestone in Oak Lawn Cemetery shows he was born Nov 21, 1854 and died Nov. 23, 1912. The above date does not agree with date of death.
