KAISER.
Mrs. Kaiser, who has been a great sufferer for some time passed away Wednesday noon. Diadama Best was born near Woodstock, McHenry Co., Illinois, Nov. 16, 1845, and died in Lime Springs, July 17, 1912, at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 1 day. She was converted and united with the Presbyterian church at Foreston when twelve years of age, and lived a faithful and consistent Christian life. She came to Howard county at the age of twelve years and was united in marriage to H. H. Kaiser, Oct. 23, 1866, at Foreston, Iowa. Never having any children of her own she took in her heart and home two orphan girls and raised them to womanhood. Gertrude Breslan, now Mrs. Hunt, of Chicago, and Hazel Rose Reamer, now Mrs. Fred De Vilbiss who resides in Tacoma, Washington. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, two daughters, two brothers and one sister, other relatives, and a host of friends. The funeral was held at the home Friday morning in charge of Rev. Maxwell, assisted by Rev. Williams and Burgess. The interment was in the cemetery east of town.
