Milton Rucker came over from Osage to attend the funeral of his sister, Mrs. Jennie Green.

Jennie A. Rucker was born March 25, 1867, at Jackson, Minn. She moved with her parents to Ft. Dodge, Iowa, when six years of age and a few years later the family moved to Cresco.
She was married to Arthur Loomis May 15, 1890. One daughter, still living, was born to them. Dec. 31, 1903, she was married to A. C. Green, who survives her. She died at her home in Waterloo, Iowa. Sept. 24, 1910.
In young womanhood she experienced religion and united with the Methodist Episcopal church, and passed away believing she would meet her loved ones in a better future life.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Th. Rucker, four brothers, Arthur of Cresco, Milton of Osage, J. B. of Palmyra, Wis., and E. E. of Faulkton, S. D. All were present at the funeral except the two last named, J. B. arrived in Cresco too late to attend the last sad rites. Funeral services were held in Waterloo Monday and in Cresco on Tuesday, burial being in New Oregon Cemetery.
