Mrs. C. C. Hewett passed away last Tuesday after a long illness. The funeral was held in the M. E. church Friday afternoon, from which place the remains were taken to Pleasant Hill cemetery. Those from away were her daughter, Mrs. Fred Lacy, of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Hewett, Jr., two grand-daughters, and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Marshall of Cresco.
