SCHAEFER.
Joseph M ., only son of Mr. and Mrs. George Schaefer, died at their home in Dell Rapids S. D., Monday morning. April 11, 1910, at 7:30 a. m. The funeral was held April 13th, at 10 o’clock at St. Mary’s Catholic church conducted by Rev. C. Bolly. Joseph was born at the farm home four miles north of Dell Rapids, Feb. 16, 1902, and reached the age of 8 years, 1 month and 26 days. He was an active and rugged lad, a great favorite with everybody. He had the grippe which left him with a trouble that developed a watery formation about the heart. He was not thought to be seriously ill, walking down town last Thursday, also Saturday went to the doctor’s office. Sun-day he was not able to leave his bed. All that loving hands and the best medical aid could do was done, but God wished otherwise and he answer{e}d the final summons that sooner or later come to all.
