Mrs. Dormedy of Cecelia died last Friday evening and was buried Sunday. We hope to publish an obituary next week.

FUNERAL AT CECELIA.
On Friday morning Catherine Dormedy of Cecelia, was called to her heavenly reward after a lingering illness which she bore patiently and uncomplainingly for a long time.
Mrs. Dormedy was born in Ireland in 1838 and came to this country at an early age. She has made Howard County her home for the past thirty years and was loved and held in high esteem by all who knew her. Mrs. Dormedy was surrounded by a large circle of friends during her illness that showed the loving heart of the deceased woman. Her friends mourn her loss as well they may as they have lost a devoted friend. Her family have lost their all. She leaves seven children to mourn her loss: Mrs. J. R. McGrow of Mason City, Frank of Williston, N. D., John, Tom, Agnes, May and Cora of this place.
The funeral was held Sunday morning from her home and the body was gently laid to rest in the cemetery at Cecelia. This paper extends its heartfelt sympathy to the grief-stricken family.
