OBITUARY.
PRESCOTT.
Sarah Estella Thomson Prescott was born in Pittsburg. Pa., Feb. 15, 1883. In 1887 she moved with her parents to Cresco, Iowa. She passed through the public schools of this city and graduated from the high school with the class of 1901. After her graduation she studied art and spent two years in Chicago and one year in New York City to this end. On the ninth of June, 1909, she was married to Dr. Lee W. Prescott of Sloan, Iowa, where she resided with her husband until her death, Jan. 15, 1910. Mrs. Prescott was for many years an earnest and loyal member of the First Congregational church of this city and was especially active in its Sunday School. Many of the young people of Cresco will retain until their dying day the memory of her sweet influence and gentle teachings, and we shall all miss her. Her splendid accomplishments, her unaffected kindliness of manner and her loyalty to her friends leaves upon the hearts of all who knew her an ineffaceable perfume of loving and regretful memories.
