C. C. Ehrke, residing east of Lime Springs, died very suddenly last Thursday afternoon. About three o’clock in the afternoon he went out in the field to dig potatoes and not returning to supper the matter was investigated and he was found lying dead in the field. As it was evident that death resulted from natural causes, an inquest was unnecessary. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon. We are without particulars for an obituary, but he was a man well along in years and leaves several children. His wife died a few years ago.
