DIED--In Busti Chatauque county New York, February 11th, 1864, Libbie Blanche, daughter of Thompson G. and Levantia E. Mead, aged 1 year, 11 months, and 15 days.

She was beautiful and fair,
And in her joyousness so full of life,
And her young voice rang out so gladsomely,
That round our hearts a web of Love was wrought.

Not all at once, but slowly, certainly,
Did hope recede, and the last trial hour,
The hour of deep and rushing anguish came,
And she, our cherished one, was gone, forever gone.

Yes, Libbie has gone, to the mansion of rest,
Gone home to dwell, with the happy and blest,
Sadly we miss her, the light of our home,
We listen for her, but ne'er will she come.
