DIED--In New Oregon Feb. 24th, Holister H. infant son of Sylvanus and Harriet M. Pepin, aged 2 years, 9 months, and 24 days.

We mourn him now, and yet we know
A brighter light illumes his eve,
A fuller radiance wreathes his brow,
To blossom he must need to die.

We give to God what first he gave
We bless Him with our weeping eyes;
Our bud sleeps not within the grave,
But sweetly blooms in Paradise.
